Historically, Western medicine has focused on the physical body when treating health conditions. The emotional, mental and spiritual bodies have not been considered to have much impact on our well-being. It is important to recognize, however, that the cells in our bodies take on stress, guilt, anger, anxiety and emotional trauma.
